FCC Environment partner of the project #LandfillBiofuel and represented by Sunil Arjandas, has participated today in the webinar ‘Biomethane in transport: networking between projects #life’

FCC Medioambiente, partner of the LIFE Landfill Biofuel project and represented by Sunil Arjandas, participated today, February 17, in the webinar ‘Biomethane in transport: networking between LIFE projects’ to explain the Renewable Gas project obtained through landfill biogas. The objectives of the project are:
  • Demonstrate the technical performance of a cost-effective system based on the implementation of new waste exploitation techniques, to improve the production and recovery of landfill biogas.
  • Upgrading process through PSA.
  • Use of biomethane in an IVECO waste collection truck and three SEAT passenger cars.
The Life Landfill Biofuel project aims to demonstrate the technical performance of a cost-effective system for obtaining biomethane and its use as fuel in vehicles. It lasts for four years and will then be replicated in other FCC landfills in Europe. Check all the activities of the project on our website.
